Furniture + Fashion Mash-Up: Kartell on the Street
In all areas of design we see cross-influence. Art inspires fashion, fashion inspires interiors, interiors inspire graphics...inspiration flows freely through all faces of art and design.Last time I was looking at pieces from Molteni & C. This time I've got my eye on Kartell.
Kartell is innovative in every sense of the word. They constantly create new shapes, new materials, new ways of making furniture....and because of the materials they use (largely tinted polycarbonate), you get amazing pieces at a great price that are still very solidly built. And Kartell is very fashion-foward, creating pieces that are become instant classics while still being cutting edge.
