Founded in 1735, Richard Ginori predates the English Bone China factories and is one of the few enterprises where traditional hand-making skills are preserved. This heritage gives Ginori porcelain the individual style which makes it so unique. The Prova Prima collection is designed by the internationally famous designer Paola Navone, who was inspired by a simple and really impressive idea: to transform in decoration the discarded swatch plates she found on the floors of Richard Ginori‘s Tuscan factory which were covered in casual tester spots where plate-decorators had been testing out colors. A gesture that represents perfectly the art of ceramic and here becomes the setting of an amusing, witty, informal collection full of character and style for the creative table.
