You can always spot a furniture company that's also active in architecture and design projects. Their pieces always have a larger-than-life perspective; they always seem to jump out from their space constraints, even if in a subtle way. Autoban, an Istanbul-based design studio, was established by Seyhan Ozdemir and Sefer Caglar as a partnership in 2003. In 2007, Efe Aydar became a partner, and the company has since grown to a team of 35. Working on projects across the world, their furniture pieces—which span a variety of uses—also sell around the world, and people appreciate not only their sleek and futuristic designs, but also their experimental spirit and dedication to solid craftsmanship. Consistently winning awards for their modern furniture, we also love them simply for the bright design future they so enthusiastically represent.
