Founded in 1902 by Louis Maharam, Maharam Textiles has tackled different textile fields throughout the years—in the 1940s they were a source for theater costume and set design textiles. They've ushered in their flair for pattern and color to commercial interiors starting in the 1960s all the way through to today, where their designs flatter furniture, walls and windows in businesses and homes around the world. We love their passion for their craft and that they are such a family-focused business (four generations!). You'll find collections with retro patterns that pay homage to the design greats and ones with heavy textures that celebrate the heritage of weaving. They also work with some of today's top designers like Hella Jongerius and Paul Smith and collaborate with companies like Vitra and Nike.
