Skygarden Suspension Lamp by FLOS

Introducing the Skygarden Suspension Lamp by FLOS, a stunning display of elegance and artistry that will elevate any space with its captivating design and functional appeal. Crafted by the renowned Marcel Wanders, this pendant lamp features a gracefully hanging hemisphere that makes a powerful impression with its sheer size.

What sets the Skygarden apart is its inner diffuser in white painted cast plaster, stealing the show with its intricate design. The lamp's construction includes a plaster diffuser support made of die-cast aluminum alloy, upper cable gland and blocking ring nut in black injection-molded PC, and shaped adjustment screws for added versatility.

With upper and lower silicone shock absorbers, a diffuser in flashed and blown opal glass, and a molded fixing ring nut in die-cast aluminum alloy with alodine plating, this lamp is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. The frieze is photo-etched and mechanically drawn AISI 304 steel, while the ceiling attachment is molded and galvanized steel for durability.

Available in black, brown, bronze, matte black, or white, the Skygarden emits diffused light and comes in two sizes: SKYGARDEN S1 (11.8" x 23.6") and SKYGARDEN S2 (17.7" x 35.4"). The inspiration behind this design stems from Marcel Wanders' former residence, which featured an old and ornate plaster ceiling he called his “Skygarden.”

With a desire to share this captivating concept with the world, Wanders created the Skygarden Suspension Lamp as a way to bring his "garden on the ceiling" to life in a functional and artistic form.
