Furniture
& design
for urban
lifestyles.
Foscarini has taken traditional lighting and put their own clever spin on it. One of our most memorable moments at Salone del Mobile in Milan in recent years is when they created a club-like atmosphere with their lights bunched together in giant chandelier clusters. It wowed spectators (and us) and was a visual example of their design philosophy: you can do a lot with old ideas if you approach them in a new way. One of the true modern innovators in modern lighting design, this Italian design company founded in the early 1980s is creative, practical and thorough; Foscarini's known for taking years to research and develop products until they're just right. They use innovative materials like plastic and rubberized metal to create sculptural but simple shapes in a thoughtful way: they're affordable to ship and easy to assemble. You'll enjoy their collaborations with designers like Tom Dixon, Karim Rashid and Patricia Urquiola.
